About “METALIKA”

“METALIKA” was founded and registered by Mr. Dragan Ivković on January 16, 1973.
To this day, the company is a family business and is successfully managed by Mr. Dejan Ivković.
Today we have 50 years of experience in manufacturing concrete block machines and making equipment for concrete industry.
On beginning of its establishment, the company METALIKA produced vibro presses for the production concrete blocks, concrete mixers, molds for concrete elements and other equipment for the construction industry.

Today, after 50 years of successful business, the “METALIKA” factory is the regional leader in making concrete block machines and equipment for concrete products manufacturing.
Company employs 150 workers in a 7.000m2 equipped factory with all necessary CNC metal preparation equipment, CNC machining center, hydraulic assembly center, electric assembly center, painting chamber and an engineering office.
Quality, inovation and design of concrete block machines contributed to the fact that today we have references on all continents in over 50 countries of the world.
“METALIKA” have representative offices in 10 different countries in the world, covering regions with service support, delivery of spare parts and after sale support.
We specialized custom-made production of concrete block machines in the configuration of complete automatic production line with concrete mixing equipment.

„METALIKA“ through the years from the foundation until today

16.01.1973

Mr. Dragan Ivković received a decision on January 16, 1973 to establish and run a locksmith workshop, from the Department for Administrative Affairs of the Municipality of Sopot.
The original copy of the decision on the establishment of the workshop is on display at the company's headquarters.
Mr. Dragan Ivković made his first mechanical block making machine at his small workshop in 1968, after several years of working on the mechanical concrete block machine itself, he decides to start manufacturing of mechanical type concrete block machines.
Mr. Dragan Ivković used the experience gained in the work of the precision mechanics factory.

1973

1973 – 1985

Because of the increased orders volume of block making machines, Mr. Dragan Ivković employs several workers.

Buyers of the concrete block making machines, concrete mixers and molds were in all the republics of the Yugoslavia: Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

1985

1985 – 1989

Improvement of the vibropress for making concrete blocks.

“METALIKA” also launched a new service “Repair and improvement of concrete block machines” during that period.

We have implemented the experience gained by repairing block machines from manufacturers from Germany and Italy in our smaller capacity block making machines.  Dragan’s son Mr. Dejan Ivković joins the „METALIKA“ company and with his knowledge in the field of hydraulics and electronics raises the quality of concrete block machines to a higher level.

1990

1990

METALIKA start with manufacturing concrete block machines with complex hydraulic systems.

We made first semi-automatic movable concrete block machine with 8 blocks, working area of the mold was 1000x400mm.

December 4

1990 – 1999

The company’s production program is expanding on:
Big capacity block machines (12 concrete blocks in one print)
Steel wire processing machines
Girder production lines
Concrete product crushers
Concrete batching plants
Rebar bending and cutting machines
Concrete pipe making machines
… as well as other machines according to the given documentation.
METALIKA start with production of AUTOMATIC equipment for rebar wire processing.
METALIKA has installed 350pcs of Steel rebar wire processing machines in period of 10 years, that was new on the market in Eastern Europe.

2000

2000

METALIKA has built a new production area that enables it to have a higher capacity in the production of concrete block machines and more employees.

September 13

2000-2005

Owner of the company is Mr. Dejan Ivković (son of founder).

The percentage of exports concrete block machines and equipment for concrete product industry increased to 60%.

During that period company has 50 employees.

METALIKA started designing more complex systems for the production of concrete products.

We have reached 15.000 customers since the establishment of the company.

2005

February 16

2005-2017

The company’s exports increased to 70%

After few years od designing and testing period, METALIKA start with manufacturing automatic solutions for cocnrete product manufacturing plants.

High level capacity block machine RVP-5000 was lanched.

First concrete product manufacturing line in configuration with Finger Car system was installed.

METALIKA got rewards for innovation in sector of concrete mixing equipment.

Expanded factory capacities to 4.000m2 and 90 employees.

2017

May 4

2017-2024

2017 – Dejan’s son Mr. Nemanja Ivković joins the „METALIKA“ company, with acquired knowledge in the field of economics and marketing, he expanded the network of representative companies as well as the quality of after-sales support.

2019 – The company’s exports increased to 85%

2022 – Expanded factory capacities to 7.000m2 and 150 employees.

2023 – We have reached 30.000 customers since the establishment of the company.
